Welcome back to The Artemis Reader! A new slightly fresher look and more weekly and monthly content on a more consistent schedule. I feel like I always have the best intentions but I really want to improve in my blogging schedule. I’ll be posting a few reviews for books read during this summer hiatus. In the meantime everything I read this summer!
- The Shadow Land by Elizabeth Kostova
- Owl and the Electric Samurai (Adventures of Owl, #3) by Kristi Charish
- Greedy Pigs (Sin du Jour, #5) by Matt Wallace
- The Flame in the Mist (The Flame in the Mist, #1) by Renee Ahdieh
- The Last Harvest by Kim Liggett
- Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices, #1) by Cassandra Clare
- Lord of Shadows (The Dark Artifices, #2) by Cassandra Clare
- Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak
- Burn (Four Sisters, #1) by Elissa Sussman
- Ruined (Ruined, #1) by Amy Tintera
- The Way of Kings (Stormlight Archive, #1) by Brandon Sanderson — I made it about 250 of 1000 pages while on vacation, significantly further than my first attempted in May 2016. I’m definitely loving everything I’ve read so far but I want to read this when I have time to sit for a few hours and really get into it. Hopefully with the cooler weather settling in I will want to stay inside and read more versus frolicking outside!
- Avenged (Ruined, #2) by Amy Tintera
- Bright Smoke, Cold Fire (Bright Smoke, Cold Fire, #1) by Rosamund Hodge
